The Milwaukee Bucks won their fourth game in five tries on Sunday night, taking down the Sacramento Kings by a score of 115-98.

The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with 37 points and 11 rebounds. Giannis was flanked by Kevin Porter Jr, who contributed with 25 points and ten assists. Gary Trent Jr helped out off the bench, scoring 13 points and knocking down four threes.

After the game, head coach Doc Rivers said his team is playing the right way.

"Number one, I thought our non-Giannis minutes in the first half were phenomenal. That actually opened the game for us because it allowed us to sit Giannis a little longer. I thought that was key. Overall, we're playing the right way. The ball is moving. You give this team 36 threes, and we only made ten."

"That will happen twice a year. We're the best field goal percentage shooting team in the league. We had threes by our key guys, and none of them went in," he said.

The Bucks shot 27% from three, well below their 39% season average.

Doc said he told the guys to "keep doing it," feeling the team got away from taking the open shots.

Second Quarter Run

In the second quarter, the Bucks outscored the Kings 34-18 to take a 62-44 lead into the locker room.

The second half run began on the defensive end as the Bucks held the Kings to just six made field goals. On the other end of the floor, Milwaukee got into the paint at will, scoring 18 of its 34 points in the paint.

Giannis had nine points in the second, eight in the paint. Porter Jr had six points in the second while Rollins had five points.

Holding Off The Kings

While it looked like the Bucks had the game well in hand from the second quarter on, the Kings made a huge run in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to three at one point.

The Kings entered the final frame down 85-69, but opened the quarter on a 16-3 run to cut the lead to 88-85. Russell Westbrook, Dennis Schroder, and Zach LaVine led the charge for the Kings.

With Sacramento threatening, Porter Jr and Giannis decided to take over for the Bucks. Porter Jr knocked down three free throws and followed up with a floater after a Kings miss to push the lead back up to eight. After a Kings' turnover, Giannis got inside and scored, putting the lead back at double digits.

The Bucks never looked back.

Giannis and Porter Jr combined for 23 points in the fourth to hold off Sacramento.
