Draymond Green is not a fan of Tyler Herro's photos.
The NBA season is upon us, which means media day for teams is underway.
Media day is the first opportunity for fans to hear from players since the end of last season and the first opportunity for fans to see new players in their new jerseys.
As is the case most offseasons, there was a ton of movement around the league, with perhaps no bigger trade than the one that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat in exchange for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakučionis, the number 13 pick in the 2026 draft (used to select Nate Ament), unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033, a 2030 pick swap, and a 2033 second-round pick.
At the Bucks media day, Herro teamed with TJ Ford to recreate Ford’s rookie photos with the oversized Milwaukee Bucks throwback jersey.
Draymond Green wasn’t a fan.
Draymond Green Speaks
On his Draymond Green Show podcast, the Golden State Warriors forward weighed in on Herro’s photoshoot.
“I thought this was the corniest thing ever. I’m just going to leave it at that because I ain’t really trying to sh*t on nobody, but I thought it was super corny,” he said.
Draymond has never been one to shy away from giving his opinion on the league as the news unfolds, so him commenting on Herro’s photoshoot shouldn’t come as a surprise. Draymond will continue to weigh in on major topics around the league as the season plays out, including what’s going on with the Golden State Warriors.
Draymond’s Opinion
Draymond’s thoughts are Draymond’s thoughts. If he found it corny, then there is not a lot that can be said that will change his opinion.
Herro did the photoshoot with Ford, not on his own. Ford had to have some kind of comfort level to pose alongside the new Bucks guard and recreate his rookie photoshoot in the oversized jersey and classic poses.
Herro was born in Milwaukee and went to high school in Wisconsin. He’s said that he’s been a Bucks fan his entire life, so getting a chance to play for his favorite team as a kid probably means something to him. He’s said that he was a fan of Ford and other Milwaukee legends like Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut, and Brandon Jennings.
The opportunity to pose alongside Ford in the classic Bucks uniform probably meant a lot to Herro, and no one can take that moment away from him, whether they found it corny or not.
