Giannis Antetokounmpo practiced ahead of Tuesday’s matchup with the Pacers but remains on the injury report as he continues to deal with a right calf strain.

The Milwaukee Bucks are away from home to take on the Indiana Pacers at 7:30 p.m. EST.

For the first time in a long time, the Bucks are the healthier team in the contest.

Coming off a Finals berth, the 6-23 Pacers, and the 11-18 Bucks, for that matter, find themselves as back-markers in the Eastern Conference.

Injuries have told the story for both teams, as each side’s top option, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Tyrese Haliburton, has dealt with lower-leg injuries that have kept them out of action.

Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report

The Bucks are slowly getting healthier as they look to rebound and salvage their season.

All players listed as questionable are now healthy, but three Bucks remain OUT.

The two-time MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is still listed as OUT, but he did play 3-on-3 for 10-15 minutes after today’s shootaround in Indianapolis. Antetokounmpo is still nursing his calf, but looks closer than ever to returning to the court.

The only other players listed as OUT are Taurean Prince, who received neck surgery in October and is out indefinitely, and Giannis’ brother, Alex, who is in the G-League.

Indiana Pacers Injury Report

The Pacers’ run in recent years has been completely stifled by injuries this season. Indiana has just six wins through December and only sits ahead of the perennial cellar-dwelling Wizards.

Indiana has found success under head coach Rick Carlisle, with their record improving in each of his four seasons. Indiana’s recent run included an Eastern Conference Finals appearance and a seven-game loss in last year’s NBA Finals. Star guard Tyrese Haliburton tore his Achilles tendon in Game 7, an injury that will keep him out for the entire season.

Haliburton isn’t the only player listed as OUT for the game, either.

Four other players are listed as OUT. Center Isaiah Jackson remains sidelined with a concussion he suffered in their last game against the Celtics.

Starting forward Aaron Nesmith is still out with a left knee MCL sprain he sustained on November 13. Ben Sheppard, who hasn’t played since December 3, is sidelined with a left calf strain.

Former first-round pick Obi Toppin underwent foot surgery for a stress fracture in his right foot and will be out for at least three months.

With so many injuries, the Pacers are digging into their reserves and G League options.

Taelon Peter, a 2025 second-round pick, is listed as PROBABLE from his two-way contract with the G League.

Former Marquette guard and 2025 second-round pick Kam Jones is listed as QUESTIONABLE, on assignment from the G League.

Veteran guard T.J. McConnell is also listed as QUESTIONABLE and did not feature in Monday’s game against the Celtics. He is considered day-to-day with left knee soreness.

Game Preview

In a battle of backmarkers, the Bucks will look to take advantage of a shorthanded Pacers squad and end their three-game losing streak.

Milwaukee is 3–11 on the road this season and will look to use this game as a chance to turn around their struggling stretch.

Although this divisional matchup is usually highly competitive, the Pacers are desperate to bring their starters back from the injured list and the Bucks are desperate for a win.
