The Milwaukee Bucks came into Sacramento on Sunday night and walked away with a solid win, beating the Kings 115-98 and moving to 16-20 on the season.

After the game, guard Kevin Porter Jr. talked about his love for being in the spotlight when the game is on the line.

Porter Jr. Embraces the Closer Role

"All my career, from grade and up until now, I have always been in those situations and relied upon as a closer so I love those games and I love having that trust in my teammates and executing for them is what I love most," Porter Jr. said.

The 25-year-old guard backed up his words on the court, finishing with 25 points and 10 assists while helping Milwaukee control the game from start to finish.

It was another strong showing from Porter, who has been on fire since returning from a knee injury earlier in the season.

Hot Streak Continues for Porter

Since getting back on the court in late November, Porter has looked like a different player.

Over his last 14 games, he is putting up 19.4 points, 7.9 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game.

In December alone, he averaged 20.5 points and 8.0 assists while being a pest on defense with 2.7 steals per contest.

With Damian Lillard no longer on the roster after his Achilles injury, Milwaukee needed someone to step up in a big way, and Porter has done just that.

Bucks Dominate Behind Giannis

While Porter was great on Sunday night, the Bucks were led by their superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who went off for 37 points and 11 rebounds in just 31 minutes of action.

He made 13 of 17 shots from the field and looked completely in control all night long.

Myles Turner chipped in 15 points to round out Milwaukee's balanced attack, and the Bucks have now won five of their last seven games with Giannis back in the lineup.

Kings Continue to Struggle

For Sacramento, the loss dropped them to 8-28 on the season, which is one of the worst records in the NBA.

Russell Westbrook led the Kings with 21 points while Zach LaVine added 20, but it was not enough to keep up with Milwaukee.

The Kings have now lost five straight games and are clearly in need of some kind of change.

The Bucks will look to keep their winning ways going when they head to Golden State on Wednesday night, while the Kings will try to get back on track when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday.
