The Milwaukee Bucks look to keep their momentum going on Friday when they take on the New York Knicks.
The Bucks are coming off a 118-116 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. They have won five of their last six and eight of their last ten. This game wraps up a four game homestand for the Bucks. At 26-31, they are eleventh in the East and 1.5 games behind the Charlotte Hornets for the final Play-In spot.
The Knicks also played the Cavaliers in their last game, but found a different result as they lost, 109-94. The loss snapped their two game win streak. They are 3-2 in their last five games. This finishes up a three game road trip for the Knicks. They are 37-22, third in the East and 1.5 games behind the Boston Celtics for second.
The Bucks and Knicks are 1-1 against each other this season, but haven't played since November 28, a 118-109 victory for the Knicks. This is the final meeting of the season between the two teams.
The lineup will look familiar for the Bucks, as there have been no new additions as far as their typical rotation goes. Expect a starting lineup of Kevin Porter Jr, AJ Green, Ryan Rollins, Kyle Kuzma, and Myles Turner for the Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo remains OUT with a right calf strain. He has been sidelined since January 23. He was reportedly set to miss at least four weeks at the time of his injury.
Taurean Prince is also OUT after undergoing neck surgery in November. On January 1, the Bucks announced they had applied for a Disabled Player Exception, indicating he will not play through the end of the season.
Alex Antetokounmpo and Cormac Ryan are both OUT on G-League two-way deals.
Much like the Bucks, the Knicks will have a familiar squad on the floor as there are no new additions to the injury report. Expect Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Josh Hart to remain the starting lineup for New York.
Miles McBride remains OUT after undergoing pelvic surgery in early February. The Knicks hope to get him back at some point in the playoffs. McBride is averaging 12.9 points on 42% shooting from three in 35 games this season.
Pacome Dadiet, Dillon Jones, and Kevin McCullar Jr are all OUT on G-League assignment.
