Kyle Kuzma led the Milwaukee Bucks in scoring in Friday’s 147-134 win over the Charlotte Hornets, but a big reason for that was the fact that Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 18 assists, the second most in a single game in his entire career and just two shy of his career high of 20 last April against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Don’t be mistaken, Antetokounmpo got it done at the basket as well. “The Greek Freak” tallied 25 points on 12-of-18 shooting, but it was his passing ability and his court vision that wowed his teammates (and everyone else) on Friday. After the game, Bucks center Myles Turner made it clear that he believes Giannis doesn’t get enough credit for that part of his skill set.

“We were just telling him, man, being a teammate now, like, you don't get enough credit for how well you see the floor,” Turner said. “There are times when he's about to pass it, you see somebody make a reaction, he's able to get up off it.

“Like, he's got an incredible feel for the game. I mean, it's just years of experience, seeing multiple defenses thrown at him. He's really mastered that part of the game. I think that it's just a testament to how much time he's put into this game.”

Win Streak Coming?

With Antetokounmpo continuing to heat up, Kuzma scoring 25+ twice in his last three games , and Ryan Rollins emerging into an early frontrunning position for the Most Improved Player Award, Turner is confident that the Bucks are on the verge of securing a real win streak after a turbulent month that has yet to see them win consecutive games.  Turner hasn't been bad himself, either.

Don’t be surprised if you see the Bucks rattle off at least five wins in a row, at least if Turner has any say in it.

“This team's going to get hot this month,” Turner said. “I feel it coming. You know, it's going to get to the point where you start rounding off one, two, three, four, five in a row, and I feel like we're due. It's little things that you've got to continue to keep doing to make that happen, though.

“You know, you can't just walk in this league and expect to win games anymore. Everybody's very competitive, especially at the beginning of the year, but I just have a great feeling about our habits and where we're at, and I do have a feeling that we're going to get hot very soon.”
