Recently, on a podcast "Game Recognize Game," hosted by Milwaukee Bucks center Myles Turner and WNBA star Breanna Stewart, Turner made comments criticizing the culture of the team as well as former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. 

Turner called out the Bucks for a lack of accountability, saying that the then-head coach, Doc Rivers, would not fine anyone who violated team policies. Turner also mentioned how team flights would get delayed for hours, often due to players showing up late. 

He also called out Giannis Antetokounmpo, saying Giannis would show up whenever he wanted and could do whatever he pleased without getting held accountable. 

Former Bucks guard Patrick Beverley shared his thoughts on Myles Turner's comments and questioned why Turner would share his personal thoughts on his own platform. 

Beverley questioned the level of production that Myles Turner brought to Milwaukee, saying that he should instead concern himself with making the Bucks a better team and performing better. 

Turner finished his first season with the Bucks, averaging 11.9 points per game, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks through 71 games. He signed a four-year deal with Milwaukee worth $108.9 million after playing 10 seasons with the Indiana Pacers. 

In Myles Turner's last season with the Indiana Pacers, he averaged 15.6 points per game, 6.5 rebounds, and 2 blocks. He was also vital to the Pacers' Finals run, averaging 13.8 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. 

Upon signing his contract with the Bucks, Turner became the 10th-highest-paid center in the NBA. 

The only way Myles Turner can combat the negativity surrounding him as of late is by playing his way out of it. With the departure of Giannis Antetokounmpo incoming, Myles Turner will have a bigger role in the frontcourt. 

Turner will be the primary big man on a roster that does not have much depth at the position. With more opportunity, there is a chance he can deliver and give Bucks fans something to cheer about in 2026. 

While Turner isn't a high-volume scorer, he has the ability to have a career year on the offensive end thanks to his shooting ability. He has a career three-point percentage of 36.5, making him a legitimate threat from beyond the arc. 

If Milwaukee can find a way to open the game up for Myles Turner in 2026, he can show them why he deserved that $100 million contract and shut down the talks of him not adding anything to the Bucks.
