Jonathan Kuminga could be a perfect fit.

The Milwaukee Bucks have put together a complete roster in record time, essentially reshaping the entire team after trading away Giannis Antetokounmpo and getting a massive haul in return from the Miami Heat, but they may not be done yet.

Across the roster the Bucks look like a complete, albeit inexperienced, team, with only time working against them as to why they can't be successful right away.

They've established a strong core of guards and reliable switch-ins at center in Myles Turner, Kel'el Ware and Jericho Sims, but the only question mark that there could be on their team is in the two forward slots, but a current free agent could change all of that and make Milwaukee a true threat.

Adding Crucial Size

Losing Antetokounmpo, even if it was in a trade that the Bucks planned for, was always going to leave a void at the power forward slot and even with both Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kyle Kuzma playing at the three and the four respectively, there are still gaps that Milwaukee needs to fill and have the finances to fill.

The solution to their problems may be Jonathan Kuminga, who's entered free agency after the Atlanta Hawks declined his team option. With Kuminga available and the Bucks benefitting from another impactful wing, there's potential for a deal between the two to come about.

The Bucks need to address a critical vacancy in size that's been left behind in Antetokoumpo's wake and adding a player with size and a physical presence, like Kuminga would go a long way in supplementing that lost size, even if it wouldn't completely replace the impact that Antetokounmpo had.

On top of that, Kuminga has a mix of athleticism, defense and scoring that would give Milwaukee head coach Taylor Jenkins a lot of options when it came to switch-ins and combinations on the court.

What Would Kuminga's Future Look Like?

Kuminga does fill a need on the court for Milwaukee, but at the same time he doesn't have a wide open roster spot either.

Bringing him in would mean one of two things: either the Bucks would have some kind of rotation put together between him, Kuzma and Nate Ament, or the the Bucks would likely trade Kuzma to free up a starting roster  spot.

The latter option could be especially advantageous for the Bucks, as Kuminga would be an upgrade over Kuzma and trading away Kuzma could yield even more draft picks for the future.

There are a number of ways that they could make it happen, but it remains clear that bringing Kuminga aboard would be a huge move for the Bucks that fits the team's philosophy.
