Post All-Star* Clarity

Two more days until the Bulls return to the court.

How do we feel about this team moving forward?

Is this an auction? Are we simply rebuilding and trying to rehab all of these players’ values before shipping them off for more second-round picks?

Or is this something different?

Are some of these guys potentially here for much longer than we anticipated? Will Josh Giddey return this season — so that we get to see what a backcourt consisting of Giddey/Simons or Giddey/Ivey looks like?

Does the emergence of Rob Dillingham suddenly make Tre Jones expendable? Do we keep Collin Sexton as an absolutely great culture-setter, or do we find a way to package him into a deal for a prominent forward/center?

There are more questions about this team than there are games left.

I guess time will tell all.

Two days, gentlemen. Two days.
