The Chicago Bulls were blown out to end a brutal part of the schedule.

The Bulls played their fourth game in five days on Sunday, and their performance in South Beach reflected the exhaustion that came with that brutal stretch.

Due to an earlier postponement related to on-court conditions, the Bulls have been forced to play four games since Wednesday. The last three came against the Miami Heat, which dominated the Bulls on Sunday night, 134-91. Chicago's 43-point loss is its largest of the season and its worst margin of defeat since 2018.

Miami led by as many as 54 points and is responsible for the Bulls' two biggest defeats this season. The Heat also won by 36 points in November and took the season series over Chicago, 3-1.

Bam Adebayo and Pelle Larson each scored 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, and five other Heat players finished in double figures. As a team, Miami outscored Chicago in the paint, 72-44, and held an advantage in bench points, 65-42.

Coby White led the Bulls with 16 points, though he shot just 4-of-13 and scored half his points from the charity stripe. Chicago combined to shoot a season-worst 32.2% overall and 14.2% (6-of-41) from beyond the arc.

The Bulls were sluggish out of the gates. Chicago shot just 20.0% from the floor and went 1-of-12 from deep in the first quarter en route to a season-low 13 points. Larson hit two of his team's four three-pointers to put the Heat ahead by 21 after one.

Chicago's second quarter was marginally better, but not enough to cut into the deficit. Larson and Adebayo continued to wreak havoc down low and beyond the arc, and at one point, the Heat were doubling the Bulls up with a 54-27 advantage. White's ability to get to the foul line proved to be Chicago's only solace.

Through 24 minutes of play, the Bulls turned the ball over 12 times, leading directly to 16 Miami points. Contrarily, the Heat gave the ball away just twice and outscored Chicago in the paint, 32-20. The disparity put Miami ahead of its frequent Play-In Tournament rival at the half, 62-40.

The Heat then turned the game into a full-on blowout in the third. Miami erupted for 39 points in a well-balanced attack to shut down any hopes of a Bulls comeback. Chicago's frustrations boiled over at the end of the quarter when Dalen Terry was called for a technical foul for elbowing Heat rookie Kasparas Jakucionis in the jaw. Jaime Jaquez Jr. converted on the technical free throw to extend Miami's lead to 101-62 after three.

Chicago allowed the deficit to grow to 54 points before going on a run to end the game. The blowout did allow rookie second-round draft pick Lachlan Olbrich to see the floor for significant playing time, in which he totaled nine points, four rebounds, a block and a steal.

The Bulls will continue their road trip on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
