The new-look Chicago Bulls get a tall task--literally--on Saturday evening when they take on former MVP Nikola Jokic and the visiting Denver Nuggets.
Chicago is still in the midst of trying to manufacture some team chemistry after the NBA trade deadline saw the Bulls trade essentially all of their expiring contracts and thusly, a majority of their rotation.
Despite the Bulls still waiting for some of their deadline acquisition players to complete their physicals and join the squad, they managed to put up a respectable fight considering the circumstances in Toronto.
The Bulls lost 123-107 to the Raptors on Thursday evening, with Simons leading Chicago with 22 points. His new backcourt mate Jaden Ivey scored 13 points and was second on the team in assists with 6. Th Bulls had their entire starting lineup in double figures scoring, and six players total if you include the bench. All of the Bulls new additions who were available had a solid impact on the night, albeit in a loss, and will look to build off that on Saturday,.
