Bulls vs. Pacers Preview: How to Watch, Injury Report & Odds cover image

The Chicago Bulls have struggled with the struggling Indiana Pacers this season, but Wednesday night gives the chance them another chance to bounce back against a division rival.

The Chicago Bulls take on division rival Indiana Pacers fore the third time this season on Wednesday night. Despite the Pacers being the worst team in the Eastern Conference by record, the Bulls have yet to defeat them this season.

Chicago's 0-2 record against the Tyrese Haliburton-less Indiana Pacers is shocking, but not inexplicable as the team is still a bit of a tough matchup for Chicago as currently constructed.

Pacers forward and NBA Champion Pascal Siakam is averaging 30 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.0 combined steals + blocks across two games vs. Chicago. If the Bulls hope to pick up their first win of the season against the Pacers, is starts with limiting the offensive production of Siakam. The size of Siakam and the inside-out nature of his game is tough to deal with for a Bulls squad that only has Matas Buzelis and Patrick Williams in terms of forwards who can matchup.

Chicago lost the last Bulls-Pacers matchup by 15 points, with Siakam's 36-points sinking the Bulls despite a big "get-right" performance from Coby White (22 points, 9-12 from the free throw line). White shot poorly from the 3-point line in that loss (1-5) but has been on an absolute tear from deep as of late. In January, White is shooting a red-hot 43.8% from the 3-point line in January, making 3.6 3-point FGs per game over that stretch.

White has scored 20+ points in five-straight games, and has collected at least six assists in back-to-back games. The Bulls will likely need another big scoring performance from White to come out on top on Wednesday night, as Josh Giddey struggled mightily the last time out against the Pacers. In the aforementioned 15-point loss to the Pacers (on December 5th, 2025), Giddey finished with 9 points on 2-9 shooting, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 turnovers. He was a -17 in the loss. Chances are Giddey won't have a performance that poor again, but a locked-in White from deep would certainly help take pressure off of his backcourt mate.
