The Bulls are 5-1 to begin the 2025-26 NBA season, and currently tied with the Philadelphia 76ers for the best record in the Eastern Conference. Chicago's depth has been at the forefront of the early success, with seven players averaging at least 9.5 points per game.

Josh Giddey's and Matas Buzelis' development have also stood out as major reasons for the team's hot start. Fresh off landing a new contract this summer, Giddey appears to be breaking out to the tune of 22.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game. Buzelis, Chicago's first-round pick from a year ago, is averaging 15.7 points per game and looks to be a key building block for the Bulls' long-term future.

Still, there is a lot of basketball left to play. The Bulls take on the 76ers on Tuesday night with the East's best record on the line, followed by matchups against the Bucks, Cavaliers, Spurs and Pistons.
