Josh Giddey leads a group of four Bulls on the annual NBA player ranking.
Entering the 2025-26 season, Coby White was the only Chicago Bulls player to land on ESPN's list of the top 100 NBA players. The 26-year-old guard is now a member of the Charlotte Hornets, but the Bulls are represented well on the 2026-27 edition of the ranking, even without White.
Chicago has four players who cracked the most recent version, with two being newcomers and two being players who saw a year-over-year improvement. Here's where the Bulls stack up:
No. 97: F Caleb Wilson
2025 NBA Rank: Not Ranked (Rookie)
Wilson, the No. 4 overall pick in this summer's NBA Draft, makes his debut on the list without having played a game yet. His exciting two-way ability puts him on the ranking as one of four rookies, behind only Grizzlies forward Cameron Boozer (No. 85), Jazz guard Darryn Peterson (No. 83) and Wizards wing AJ Dybantsa (No. 78).
No. 88: F Matas Buzelis
2025 NBA Rank: Not Ranked
Buzelis makes his first appearance on the top 100 improving on both ends of the floor from his first to his second year. Last season, the 21-year-old Chicago native averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting a respectable 34.9% from three. After the midseason trade deadline led to a major roster shakeup, Buzelis showcased his offensive potential and is in line for a big year three in the NBA.

2025 NBA Rank: No. 82
As a member of the Miami Heat last season, Powell earned his first career All-Star nod. He averaged a near-career-high 21.7 points per game and shot 38.0% from deep, but somehow, his ranking on ESPN's top 100 players list dropped four spots in 2026-27. Could it be because of the change of scenery and because the Bulls presumably won't be contending for a playoff spot? Perhaps, but Powell still projects to provide much-needed shooting to Chicago's roster, and his impact will be felt — even if he doesn't finish the season with the Bulls.
No. 80: G Josh Giddey
2025 NBA Rank: Not Ranked
Giddey is the highest-ranked player for Chicago following a career-best year. Despite dealing with various injuries throughout the season, Giddey still averaged 17.0 points, 9.1 assists and 8.3 rebounds per game while serving as the engine to the Bulls' offense. The 23-year-old underwent ankle surgery this offseason and is now reportedly fully healthy.
