

The NBA trade deadline is just over a week away. Teams can make acquisitions up to February 9 at 3:00 pm EST. After that, teams will have to finish out the season with the squad that they have, outside the handful of players who will sign as free agents via the buyout market.

The Cavaliers' head coach, J.B. Bickerstaff doesn't necessarily think that Cleveland needs to go out and make a big move in order for the team to be successful.

Now, even if Bickerstaff truly felt like there was an area that the team could improve upon, he's not going to come out and say it's this area and we need to upgrade by getting this player. Good coaches don't throw their players under the bus.
But his comments do feel genuine that he does think this group has what it takes to go far in the playoffs.
This doesn't mean that Cleveland won't make any moves. There's a reason why Bickerstaff is the coach and Koby Altman is the President Of Basketball Operations.
The week leading up to the deadline is guaranteed to be an interesting one whether they decide to make a trade or not.
