Donovan Mitchell scores and gets fouled and converts the one free throw. The Cavs are in front.
The Wizards still lead 106-105 after Kyle Kuzma missed two free throws.
Mitchell had a look to take the lead, but he couldn't get it to fall. We get some free basketball in the home opener with this game headed to overtime tied at 103.
With 25 seconds to go, we're all tied up at 103.

With less than a minute in the game, the Wizards are within one possession of the Cavs
Cavs 103, Wizards 101
The Cavs only hold a five points lead as we head into the final minutes of the game. It's time for the clutch-time Cavs to show up and put this game on ice.
The Wizards opened the fourth quarter with an 8-and-0 run. This cut the Cavs lead to just two points. J.B. had seen enough and called an early timeout in the fourth quarter.
At the end of the third quarter, the Cavs are up 83-to-76.
The Wizards had been chipping away at Cleveland's lead throughout the third, but the Cavs were able to stay in front. Now they need to hold onto that lead in the fourth.
The Cavs have opened up the second half strong. They have a 10-point lead and aren't forcing anything either.
The Cavs have played a solid brand of basketball through the first half of tonight's game. Mitchell and Osman each have 13 points as the Cavs remain in the lead.
There's still a lot of time in this one so it's not a time for them to let up but Cleveland has put themselves in a good position to win this game through the first half.
Donovan Mitchell is once again making his presence known on the floor. With about two minutes left in the first half, he has 12 points, three assists, one steal, and one block.
This might already be the winner of the circus shot of the year. I have no idea how Robin Lopez got this to go in, but I'm not complaining.
The Cavs have a 42-to-37 lead as they continue to increase the pace of play and get buckets in transition.
The Cavaliers trail the Wizards 30-to-31 at end of the first quarter. However, they did close out the first 12 minutes on a 9-to-2 run so they are making things happen.
Ced Osman checked into the game and has a quick eight points. He's 2-for-2 from behind the arc and had a fastbreak layup as well.

J.B. calls the first time out of the game as the Wizards open up the game with a 13-3 lead.
J.B. Bickerstaff wasted no time picking up his first technical foul of the season. J.B. was frustrated with a series of no-calls when Jarrett Allen went up with the ball and had a few things to say as it went into transition.
