Cleveland will celebrate its 2016 NBA title with three theme nights against the Knicks, Mavericks and Warriors at Rocket Arena.

Saturday's game against the New York Knicks opens a three-game run of 2016 championship theme nights at Rocket Arena, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced Wednesday.

The Dallas Mavericks come in Nov. 14. Golden State, Cleveland's opponent in those Finals, closes the series Dec. 12. Tip-off is 8 p.m. ET for the Knicks and Warriors games and 7:30 p.m. ET for Dallas.

New York last played in Cleveland on May 25, winning 130-93 to finish a four-game sweep of the Eastern Conference finals.

Ten years ago, the Cavaliers trailed a 73-win Warriors team 3-1 in the Finals. They won Game 7 93-89 at Oracle Arena in Oakland on June 19, 2016.

Kyrie Irving's 3-pointer with 53 seconds left gave Cleveland the lead for good. Moments earlier, with the score tied at 89, LeBron James chased down Andre Iguodala on a fast break and blocked his layup.

James sealed the clincher with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, earning unanimous Finals MVP honors.

No other team has won the Finals after trailing 3-1. It was Cleveland's first major professional sports title since the Browns won the 1964 NFL championship.

Each Night Will Feature a Different 2016 Tribute

Cleveland-Cliffs is backing the series. On Saturday, fans can decorate hard hats at Cleveland-Cliffs activations as artist Stina Aleah paints a concourse piece featuring figures and motifs from the 2016 team.

Medical Mutual is presenting the Nov. 14 giveaway, a mini replica of the 2016 championship banner for everyone in the building. A full replica banner on the concourse doubles as a photo backdrop.

The Warriors game on Dec. 12 is Matthew Dellavedova night. Every fan gets a bobblehead of the guard from the 2016 roster, and cutouts of him go up on the concourse for photos. In its release, the team described "Delly" as a fan favorite known for hustle and grit.

Fans at any of the three can buy a 2016-themed souvenir cup at concessions.

Cavaliers Roll Out Ticket Plans and Sweepstakes

Tickets for each game went on sale with Wednesday's announcement through Cavs.com/Promo, and a 10th Anniversary Plan packages all three.

Named for the Finals deficit, the 3-1 Plan covers four games: three against players and teams from Cleveland's 2016 playoff path, plus the Cavaliers’ December Emirates NBA Cup game, which is undated.

Cleveland-Cliffs is also giving away four premium seats to the Warriors game. Enter the sweepstakes, honoring the block, shot, and stop, by Dec. 2 at Cavs.com/10thSweeps.

Inside Rocket Arena, the Center Court team shop has the Mitchell & Ness 2016 shirts and hoodies back on the racks. It is also selling pieces of the 2016 championship floor, cut down into a 17-by-15-inch frame, an ornament, and a mini court.

Anniversary Celebration Started in June

The anniversary celebration started June 19, exactly 10 years after Game 7. That morning, the Cavaliers opened the 2016 Championship Commemorative Court at Meet Me Here Plaza, across Huron Road from Rocket Arena.

The full-size outdoor court carries the name and number of every player from the 2016 team.

Nic Barlage, CEO of the Cavaliers and Rock Entertainment Group, said the organization plans to keep adding to the plaza.

"Our goal is to use this as the foundation to build upon the future generations of Cavaliers' success," Barlage said.

David Griffin, Cleveland's 2016 general manager, returned for the ribbon-cutting and told WOIO the court is more than nostalgia.

"I want kids here to grow up knowing that they are meant for something special and this court reminds them of that every day," Griffin said.

At the Main Library downtown, Cleveland Public Library has hosted the Cavaliers’ "All In 216: 10th Anniversary Championship Exhibit” since July 25. Admission is free. It features authenticated comeback memorabilia, key Finals plays, and materials from the team’s “record-setting parade.”

The exhibit runs through Jan. 2, 2027.
