The Cleveland Cavaliers are getting ready for the upcoming 2026-27 NBA season, with the team ready to do some damage again this year.
After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals a year ago, the Cavaliers believe that they have a solid shot at being a top-tier team again. The Cavaliers bring back most of the same roster, with some minor tweaks around the edges.
But the big piece for Cleveland was bringing in defensive forward Peyton Watson, who is expected to bring some extra toughness to the roster. Watson has been a menace on the defensive end of the floor since coming into the league, and how he will have more pressure on him than ever to succeed.
Cleveland believes that he could be the missing piece to this group, giving them a legitimate three-and-D style of player.
But before the season gets going, the Cavaliers have announced the promotional schedule for fans at Rocket Arena. Here is a list of the promotions that will be coming to the arena heading into the 2-26-27 season.
The first giveaway will come on October 24, the team's home opener against the Houston Rockets. All fans in attendance will be given a Cavaliers-inspired Home Opener T-shirt.
On November 14, against the Dallas Mavericks, the Cavaliers will be giving away a 2016 Championship Mini Banner.
On December 12, against the Golden State Warriors, the Cavaliers will have a Matthew Dellavedova bobblehead that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the 2016 NBA championship.
On December 20, against the. Utah Jazz, the Cavaliers will give out a Sam Merrill bobblehead.
The following night on December 21, against the New York Knicks, fans can get a "Spida" foam finger.
On January 27, against the Detroit Pistons, the Cavaliers will give out a Sword Magazine.
On February 9, against the Toronto Raptors, the Cavaliers will present a James Harden bobblehead.
On February 14, against the Phoenix Suns, the team will give away mystery mascot plushes.
On March 4, against the Portland Trail Blazers, the Cavaliers will give away a City Edition cap to fans.
On April 1, against the Boston Celtics, the Cavaliers will hand out City Edition Mini Water Coolers.
And finally, on April 11, against the Atlanta Hawks, fans can receive a stash bag.
The team will also have a few theme nights throughout the season, giving fans a chance to celebrate different events. All in all, fans going to Rocket Arena this year are in for some good giveaways in 2026-27.
