After the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, Jarrett Allen announced some concerning news.

Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star center Jarrett Allen announced some concerning news after the Wine and Gold lost to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Allen told Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com that he's not close to being 100%.

"I'm not able to put a lot of pressure on my knee sometimes," Allen said. "Jumping and landing on the knee still hurts. Not as much as before when I first got hurt, but still managing it and definitely still struggling with it."

Allen just returned from a 10-game injury absence. The big man had 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Miami Heat on March 27 in his first game back.

Allen didn't play against the Utah Jazz on March 30. The Texas product played against the Lakers and put up 18 points and four rebounds.

The Cavaliers dropped to 47-29 after losing to the Lakers in Los Angeles. Allen and Co. are in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

In 53 games this season, Allen is averaging 15.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. The 27-year-old is shooting 64.3% from the field and 72.1% from the free-throw line.

As most people know, the Cavaliers haven't advanced past the second round of the playoffs since 2018. The core of Allen, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and James Harden is under major pressure to go on a deep run in this year's playoffs.

If Cleveland doesn't play well in the 2026 playoffs, could Koby Altman break up the roster and rebuild around Mobley? It's possible. There's also a possibility that the Cavaliers will heavily recruit LeBron James back home since James becomes a free agent this summer for the first time since 2018.

It will be fascinating to see how Cleveland fares in the 2026 playoffs. The pressure is on the Wine and Gold to at least make the conference finals.
