Unpacking the Cleveland Cavaliers' recent struggles: From bad habits and Darius Garland's injury to Evan Mobley's offensive woes, we dissect the team's bumpy ride on Courtside with Cavs.

Spencer German and Spencer Davies bring you the latest episode of Courtside with Cavs after an up-and-down stretch for the wine and gold, among injuries and a nonstop schedule.

Topics of the show include the following:

    • The Cleveland Cavaliers are experiencing their fair share of ups and downs, losing two out of three games this week with different lineups and changing personnel amid a grueling schedule. What's going on with them? Why is there so much inconsistency early on? What can be fixed, and what should the wine and gold be concerned about?
    • Poor second-quarter numbers have been a tell-tale sign of an inability to sustain opening-period success. How can Cleveland maintain momentum following the hot starts that the team has gotten off to?
    • Darius Garland hurt his toe on Monday and hasn't played since the third quarter of that game against the Miami Heat. It sounds like he'll be okay, but should the Cavs handle his injury management any differently after that kind of scare? Should this be expected in coming back from a procedure in the first place?
    • Jaylon Tyson suffered a setback on the same night. The back of his head collided with Sam Merrill's knee when he tried to secure a rebound that came off the side of the rim. Tyson is in concussion protocol. As one of the squad's top hustlers and rebounders on the court, others will need to step up in his absence.
    • Playing five games in seven nights is never easy for any team, and Cleveland is feeling the effects of how fast and furious the days are coming at them. It is understandable, but the guys can't use it as an excuse.
    • Evan Mobley has had a lot put on his shoulders. It's well-documented. Progress isn't linear, and it certainly hasn't been to this point on the offensive end. His role has fluctuated. If he's going to be a high usage player with big expectations, he needs to learn to be constantly aggressive.
