Jarrett Allen returns to the Cleveland Cavaliers lineup as the playoffs near.

Time is running out for the Cleveland Cavaliers to get everyone on the same page before the playoffs begin in just over two weeks. Injuries have been a theme for the Cavaliers all year long, but thankfully, the team is

The Cavaliers are set to get back one of their star players on Friday against the Miami Heat, but two more of their rotation players will remain sidelined with injury.

Jarrett Allen - AVAILABLE

For the first time since March 3, Jarrett Allen will be available for the Cavaliers and will be back in the starting lineup as they take on the Miami Heat.

JA has been out nearly a month and missed the last nine Cleveland games with knee tendinitis, but Kenny Atkinson hinted earlier in the week that a “window” was opening up for his return, and now the Cavaliers get their center back.

Before suffering the knee injury, Allen was playing some of his best basketball in a Cavaliers uniform and meshing well with the Cavaliers' newest guard, James Harden. JA averaged 18.9 points and 9.5 rebounds a game from after the All-Star Break and before the injury.

Hopefully, Allen is able to pick up right where he left off as the Cavaliers close in on the postseason.

Dean Wade, Jaylon Tyson - OUT

Even though Allen is back, the Cavaliers will still be without two key rotation players against the Heat.

Dean Wade injured his ankle warming up before Cleveland’s matchup against the Heat on Wednesday evening and was held out of that game. Now, he’s missing a second game with the same injury, and it’s unknown exactly how much time Wade will miss.

Kenny Atkinson said the forward re-injured the same ankle that he had injured before.” Cleveland’s coach said it was an unfortunate, unlucky injury. With Wade out, the Cavaliers will rely more on Keon Ellis and his minutes at forward.

Jaylon Tyson has also been ruled out as he continues to work through a left toe injury and is now set to miss his fourth straight game.

This toe injury couldn’t come at a worse time for Tyson. His role dramatically changed after Cleveland’s trade deadline additions, and the sophomore’s numbers started to reflect that.

The Cavaliers are still determining their playoff rotation, and without Tyson on the floor to gather more data, he may end up with an undefined role in the postseason.
