According to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, 10 teams are interested in trading for Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade.
The Cavaliers, though, are not looking to move Wade.
Wade is making $6.6 million this season in the final year of his contract. He becomes an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
The 29-year-old Wade has appeared in 38 games for the Cavaliers this season. He's averaging 5.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 40.7% from the field, 33.3% from beyond the arc and 75.0% from the free-throw line.
Wade has spent his entire NBA career with the Cavaliers. He holds career averages of 5.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
Cleveland is 27-20 on the season. The Wine and Gold are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings, so they don't HAVE to make a trade.
Along with Wade, De'Andre Hunter had drawn trade interest from multiple teams. The Cavaliers won't want to trade Hunter either.
Cleveland had the top record in the East last season. They lost to the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the playoffs in five games. The Cavaliers haven't advanced past the second round of the postseason with Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen leading the way.
If the Cavaliers falter in the 2026 playoffs, don't be surprised if Koby Altman shakes up the roster in the offseason. Cleveland has the most expensive roster in the NBA and is the only team above the second apron.
