As the world awaits LeBron James' decision on where he'll play next season, the Cleveland Cavaliers must also be prepared for the possibility that The King may not return home and have contingency plans in place.

Here are three free agents who could still help this Cavaliers team, who aren't LeBron James.

(Note: Yes, James Harden is technically a free agent who would help the Cavs. Since there are reports indicating the veteran will eventually re-sign, he isn't included on this list.)

Outside of James himself, Jonathan Kuminga is one of the top free agents still on the market and the best fit for this Cleveland team. There have even been some reports that the Wine and Gold are interested in the 23-year-old.

The Cavaliers still need to address their lack of forward depth, especially after losing Dean Wade in free agency.

Kuminga would slide into Cleveland's starting five seamlessly at the wing. He owns a career defensive rating of 113, and the forward is coming off a season in which he averaged 12.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists a game while shooting 46.2 percent from the floor. 

Losing out on LeBron would be disappointing for the Cavaliers, but adding Kuminga isn't the worst consolation prize. 

Again, adding another forward must be a top priority for the Cavaliers. One free agent still on the market is Guerschon Yabusele.

Yabusele signed with the New York Knicks last offseason, but was traded to the Chicago Bulls after he was unable to find a role with the eventual champions. He eventually appeared in 26 games for Chicago, averaging 10.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in 24.7 minutes a game. 

There were reports that the Cavaliers were interested in Yabusele after the 2024 Olympics, stemming from Kenny Atkinson's role as a coach on the French national team.

Yabusele isn't a needle-mover like Kuminga might be, but his physicality and size could make him a solid bench option. 

Losing both Wade and Keon Ellis is a tough blow for the Cavaliers' defense, which they clearly value, as Wade was the starting wing in the playoffs.

Even though Matisse Thybulle is six feet five and would be slightly undersized as a full-time small forward, he's known as a stellar defender who would fill a void on the roster.

Thybulle averaged .6 steals with a defensive rating of 106 at 29 years old last season.

The fit isn't perfect, but it's hard to deny that Thybulle wouldn't fill a need.
