The Celtics and 76ers will meet in Round 1, something they've done many times before.
The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night in the NBA's play-in tournament to earn the No. 7 seed in the upcoming Eastern Conference playoffs.
As the No. 7 seed, the 76ers will play the No. 2 Boston Celtics in the first round, which begins on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at TD Garden.
If the Celtics and 76ers feels familiar, that's because it is. As noted by the NBA, this will be the 23rd different playoff series between the two iconic franchises, the most in league history.

Will Embiid play vs. Celtics?
It's to-be-determined. All we knew was that he wasn't expected to play in the play-in tournament.
Embiid played just 38 games this season, but he remained productive, averaging 26.9 ppg and 7.7 rebounds. While the 76ers aren't as deep as the Celtics, a 1-2 punch of Maxey and Embiid is still something to watch out for if you're Boston.
