The Celtics toppled the 76ers in Philadelphia to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference first round.

The Boston Celtics raced out to a 16-point lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back on Sunday night, routing the Philadelphia 76ers 128-96 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference first round.

The Celtics now have a 3-1 series lead and are just one win away from heading back to the Eastern Conference semifinals, while the 76ers are one loss from elimination.

Here's everything you need to know from Game 4.

Pritchard puts up playoff best night

Playing in a reserve role, Payton Pritchard scored 32 points in 35 minutes to lead the C's in scoring. He was 12-of-21 from the floor and 6-of-12 from three-point range. He added four rebounds and five assists. As noted by @Celtics_Stats on social media, it's the first 30-point playoff game of Pritchard's career.

The former first-round pick has become a huge part of Joe Mazzulla's rotation. His 35 minutes tied for the team lead with Jayson Tatum.

Inside the numbers

--In addition to Pritchard's big night, the Celtics got 30 points from Tatum, who also had 11 assists and seven rebounds.

--Jaylen Brown had 20 points on 6-of-15 shooting. He added seven boards and one assist.

--The Celtics dominated the glass for the fourth straight game, winning the rebounding battle 51-30.

--The Celtics only had double figure scoring efforts from Pritchard, Brown and Tatum. No other player had more than nine (Neemias Queta).

--On the other side, Joel Embiid saw his first action of the series, going for a team-high 26 points on 9-of-21 shooting. He added 10 rebounds and six assists. Tyrese Maxey had 22 points on 7-of-14.

Celtics shoot incredibly well

The Celtics, one of the top three-point shooting teams in the league during the regular season, went 24-of-53 from three-point range (45 percent). The 76ers only hit nine threes, meaning that the Celtics were +45 when it came to beyond the arc.

Every Celtics player who saw the floor had a three except Queta, Dalano Banton, Nikola Vucevic and Hugo Gonzalez.

One Celtic who shot better in limited chances was Derrick White. After going 5-of-25 in the first three games from downtown, he was 2-of-4 in this one (six points). He added six rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
