The Celtics will take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon and they'll do with a different look and a different sound.

The Boston Celtics will take on the Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon (3 p.m. ET) and they'll do so with a different look and a different sound.

As noted by NBC Sports Boston, the Celtics will have an "all-female" broadcast team.

Abby Chin, Kayla Burton, Ashley Battle, Noa Dalzell and Aneeshah Morrow will be part of the broadcast.

The Celtics are currently 51-25 and in second place in the Eastern Conference. While it's not officially determined, it's highly likely that they finish second in the East to earn the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. The Raptors are currently 42-34 and in seventh place. They are tied with Philadelphia, who is in sixth. Finishing in the top six means you avoid the play-in tournament, so the Raptors have plenty to play for in his contest.

About the broadcast team

Chin has been the Celtics courtside reporter since 2013. She's also served on broadcast coverage at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Fans know her well and can expect her to provide a strong inside knowledge of the team and organization. She will act as the play-by-play voice.

Burton graduated from LeHigh in 2017, where she played college basketball, and has moved up the broadcast ranks ever since. She's worked in television in Western Massachusetts and has been at ESPN, in addition to NBC Sports Boston.

Battle has been a color commentator for the WNBA's New York Liberty and also served as the assistant general manager of the Maine Celtics (G-League). She is now the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Portland Fire of the WNBA.

Noa Dalzell is a writer for CelticsBlog and Hardwood Houdini. Morrow was the No. 7 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft of the Connecticut Sun. She averaged 7.7 ppg and 6.9 rebounds in her rookie year.

Also in the news for the Celtics

--The C's rolled over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night, 147-129. Boston got double-digit scoring efforts from Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Sam Hauser, Neemias Quetta, Luka Garza and Payton Pritchard.

Tatum recorded a triple-double, yet it was his rebounding that actually made team history.

--Before the Celtics can play the Raptors on Sunday, they have to play the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night at 8 p.m. ET. The Bucks are 30-46 and eliminated from playoff contention. They are one of the most disappointing teams in the entire NBA and could be headed for a major offseason shakeup.
