The Celtics are readying for the draft, where they have picks No. 27 and No. 40.
On Thursday, we learned that the Boston Celtics have hired former point guard Isaiah Thomas to a role in the pro and college scouting department. We also learned that Thomas is at the NBA Combine and helping the Celtics interview potential draft picks.
The Celtics have picks No. 27 and No. 40 in the draft, which begins on June 23, though it's unclear if they'll trade or use those picks.
Regardless of what they ultimately do, the Celtics are preparing like they are going to make a pick, and they are bringing in three players for pre-draft workouts, per reports.
Those players are Zuby Ejiofor from St. John's, Andrej Stojakovic of Illinois and Kashie Natt of Sam Houston State.
Here's what you need to know about each player:
About Ejiofor
A four-year college player from Texas, Ejiofor started his career at Kansas before playing at St. John's. Part of the program's turnaround under Rick Pitino, he became the Big East Player of the Year while also earning the Big East Tournament MVP this season. He was a two-time All-Big East selection and a two-time All-Big East tournament pick.
He averaged 14.7 ppg as a junior and 16.3 ppg as a senior as the Red Storm won the Big East regular season and tournament titles this year.
A physical player, he averaged 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per contest. He stands at 6'9.

As for Natt
A 6'3 guard, Natt spent just one year at Sam Houston State, starting all 34 games. He averaged 10.8 ppg while leading Conference USA in steals at 2.0 per night. He was named the C-USA Defensive Player of the Year.
Prior to Sam Houston State, he played NAIA ball at LSU-Alexandria.
We'll have a more full breakdown on each player and what they could bring to the Celtics over the weekend at Celtics Roundtable.
