After beating the Orlando Magic on Sunday night, it looks like the C's are set to have Sam Hauser on Tuesday.

After beating the Orlando Magic on Sunday night 111-107, the Boston Celtics look as if they'll have sharpshooting forward Sam Hauser available for Tuesday's road game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics have listed him as probable despite a right wrist sprain. However, his inclusion on the injured list at all was certainly a surprise.

Hauser played 17 minutes in Sunday's win against Orlando, scoring zero points on 0-of-2 shooting.

Hauser is averaging 7.5 points per game this season, but he's generally struggled shooting the ball. His calling card, he's hitting only 33.8 percent of his field goals and 36.6 percent of his three-point attempts.

Now 27 years old, Hauser is in his fifth season out of Virginia. A career 41.7 percent three-point shooter, he was a big part of the Celtics championship team in 2023-24. He averaged a career-high nine points per game that season.

With much of that team now gone, the Celtics are counting on Hauser to be a key part of this team as well, and thus far, he just hasn't shot well enough to pair with Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard and Derrick White.

The Celtics are currently 5-6 and in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. That would be good enough to make the final play-in spot, but with 71 games to play, Boston will look to improve their spot. If they can do that sufficiently enough, perhaps there's a chance that Jayson Tatum could return this season from a Torn Achilles that he suffered in the playoffs last season.

He has been set to miss the whole season, but appears to be making solid progress.

Tuesday's game against the 76ers will be at 8:00 p.m. ET. Philadelphia is currently 6-4 and in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, just 1.5 games ahead of Boston thus far.
