They sit eighth in the West and have clinched a spot in the play-in tournament. They are a half game ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Mavericks snapped a three-game losing streak in their last game, besting the Los Angeles Lakers, 134-128. They are 2-8 in their last ten and 25-53 on the season. They are 11th in the West, a half game better than the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies in the race for better lottery odds.
The Clippers won their last meeting, 138-131 in overtime, on March 21. The two teams played a double overtime game on November 14, which was also won by the Clippers. The Mavericks won on November 29 in a game that didn't go to OT.

Isaiah Jackson is OUT with a right ankle sprain. He's been out since March 27. On April 2, it was reported that Jackson would be reevaluated in one week.
Bradley Beal is OUT after undergoing season-ending hip surgery for a fracture in November.

Brandon Williams is QUESTIONABLE with an illness. He played 25 minutes against the Lakers, finishing with 13 points, two rebounds, and five assists. In 66 games this season, Williams is averaging 13 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
Daniel Gafford is DOUBTFUL with right shoulder impingement. He played 20 minutes against the Lakers, finishing with seven points and seven rebounds.
Caleb Martin is DOUBTFUL with right plantar fascia strain. He's been sidelined since March 15.
Kyrie Irving is OUT after undergoing left knee surgery last season. He has missed the whole season and won't return until next year.
Dereck Lively II is OUT after undergoing season-ending right foot surgery.
