The Los Angeles Clippers will have Kawhi Leonard against the Denver Nuggets

The Los Angeles Clippers look for their fourth straight victory as they head to Denver to take on the Nuggets on Friday. 

The Clippers are coming off a 115-103 victory over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday to kick off their road trip. They remain the hottest team in the NBA since the end of December, winning nine of their last ten. 

The Nuggets are coming off a hard-fought 107-103 win over the Brooklyn Nets, bouncing back after a tough loss against the Detroit Pistons. They have won three of their last four, and have two games remaining on their homestand, including Friday's contest. 

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Nuggets won 130-116 way back on November 12th. They will meet for a third and final time on February 19th. 

Los Angeles Clippers Injury Report

The Clippers were listing Kawhi Leonard as questionable with a left knee contusion, but he was upgraded to AVAILABLE in the afternoon. 

The Clippers All-Star played 28 minutes against the Jazz, scoring 21 points to keep his 20+ point streak alive. He's scored 20 or more points in 25 straight games. Leonard has played in three straight after missing three straight with a knee contusion. 

On the season, he is averaging a career high 27.9 points in 33 games. 

The Clippers are still without Bogdan Bogdanovic and Derrick Jones Jr, who are both OUT. Bogdanovic is sidelined with left hamstring injury management and Jones Jr is out with a right knee spran. 

Bogdanovic has been out since December 26 and his return is unknown. Jones Jr has been out since January 3. 

Bradley Beal is OUT with a left hip fracture and won't return this season. 

Chris Paul is OUT as he is not with the team and no texpected to return. 

TyTy Washington Jr is OUT on a G-League two-way deal. 

Denver Nuggets Injury Report

The Denver Nuggets will get a big boost as three-time MVP Nikola Jokic will reportedly be back in the lineup. Jokic has been out since December 19th, when he suffered a knee injury against the Miami Heat. 

Prior to his injury, he was on pace to once again be in the top two for the MVP award, averaging 29.6 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 11 assists. The 11 assists are a career high, while 29.6 points is tied for his career high from last season.

He is officially listed as QUESTIONABLE. 

Jamal Murray (right hamstring inflammation and left hip inflammation) and Jonas Valanciunas (right calf strain) are both PROBABLE. 

Murray missed the January 23 game against the Bucks, but has played in the last two for Denver. Valanciunas has played in three of the last four, also missing the game against the Bucks. 

Aaron Gordon (right hamstring strain), Christian Braun (left ankle sprain), and Cameron Johnson (right knee bone bruise) remain OUT. 

Tamar Bates (left foot surgery) and Curtis Jones (G-League) are also OUT.
