Clippers Star Probable To Return Against New York Knicks cover image

The Los Angeles Clippers got good news regarding James Harden on the latest injury report ahead of their showdown with the New York Knicks.

The Los Angeles Clippers will look to start a new win streak on Wednesday when they head to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks.

The Clippers are coming off a 103-102 victory against the Golden State Warriors on Monday, bouncing back after an ugly loss to the Boston Celtics, 146-115. Prior to the loss against the Celtics, the Clippers had won six straight games.

The New York Knicks are trying to snap a losing streak as they've dropped four straight, including a rough outing against the Detroit Pistons on Monday, as they lost, 121-90. The Knicks have been outscored by double digits in their last three games.

Los Angeles Clippers Injury Report

The Clippers could welcome back James Harden to the lineup as he's listed as PROBABLE with right shoulder soreness.

Harden missed the game against the Warriors, just his third missed game all season and his first since December 18th. With Harden out, Kobe Sanders got extra opportunities, entering the starting lineup and playing 36 minutes. He made the most of his minutes, scoring 20 points to go along with three assists and seven rebounds.

The rest of the Clippers report looks similar to previous games with Bradley Beal (left hip fracture), Derrick Jones Jr (right knee sprain), Bogdan Bogdanovic (left hamstring injury management), and Chris Paul (not with team) all listed as OUT.

Beal is out for the season after undergoing surgery. Paul is also not expected to be back with the team this season.

Bogdanovic has been sidelined since December 26th, and there is no timetable for his return. In 16 games, he is averaging eight points, but shooting just 33% from three, which is the second-lowest mark of his career.

After missing 17 games, Jones Jr returned to the lineup on December 28th and played in four games before being inactive against the Warriors with a knee sprain. He is set to be reevaluated in six weeks.

New York Knicks Injury Report

The Knicks will once again be without Josh Hart (right ankle sprain) and Landry Shamet (right shoulder sprain) as both players are listed as OUT.

Hart has been out of the lineup since Christmas, missing the last six games for New York. According to Ian Begley of SNY, he will reportedly return soon.

Shamet has been sidelined since November 22nd. Begley reports that he is expected to return in the next week or two.
