Clippers Star Questionable to Play Monday Against Warriors. cover image

The Los Angeles Clippers play the Golden State Warriors Monday night at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Clippers were riding a high from their out-of-the-blue six game win streak earlier in the week, but that all came to an end with a loss to the Boston Celtics. Now, Los Angeles prepares to wrap up a five game home stand with a matchup against the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors have been without one of their Big Three stars in the last few games, but it appears those times are at an end, at least for now. The Warriors still have one injury to report ahead of the game, but it's the cleanest bill of health they've had to work with in some time.

The Clippers, on the other hand, thought they were finally finished with the long term injuries that have plagued their season so far, but bad news coming out of their loss to the Celtics proves that there is still no escaping the injury bug.

Clippers Injury Report

James Harden (shoulder) is QUESTIONABLE for Monday's game due to right shoulder soreness. Harden has been the most consistently available major Clippers this season, only missing a handful of games while his teammates have been gone for weeks at a time. It's not a certainty that Harden will miss Monday's contest, but it is in the cards.

Yanic Konan Niederhauser (illness) is PROBABLE to play in Monday's game despite an illness.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) remains OUT due to the left hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined since Dec. 26. There is no clear timetable for Bogdanovic's return, but he won't be available for Monday's game or the Clippers' upcoming three-game road trip.

Derrick Jones Jr. (knee) is OUT once again due to a right MCL sprain. Jones Jr. was just two games in to his return from an initial MCL sprain before he re-injured the same area against the Boston Celtics. Jones jr. was diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and will be re-evaluated in six weeks.

Bradley Beal (hip) is OUT for the season after suffering a left hip fracture that required surgery in early November.

Chris Paul (not with team) was released by the Clippers in early December and is naturally OUT for Monday's game.

Warriors Injury Report

Seth Curry (sciatic nerve) is OUT for Monday's game. Curry has been out since Dec. 4 due to sciatic nerve irritation in his low back and pelvic areas and he received a larger picture of his issues after a MRI on Dec. 28. Curry is set to be re-evaluated two weeks from the date of his MRI, meaning he'll be looking at close to a week at this point before a return to the court can be considered.

Li Cryer and Malevy Leons (two-way) are both OUT for Monday's game and playing for the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State's G-League affiliate, as part of their two-way contracts.
