After an extremely difficult start to the season, the Los Angeles Clippers have been on a roll lately with an almost improbable six-game win streak. While they've been on a roll, the Clippers are running into their most difficult challenge yet since beginning their heater as they face off against the 21-12 Boston Celtics.
Much of the Clippers' struggles has been due to the long list of injuries that they've suffered to key pieces so early on in the season. Losing Bradley Beal for the season was a devastating blow the offensive scheme that the Clippers invested in during the offseason and a long-term injuries to Kawhi Leonard and Derrick Jones Jr. withered the Clippers' depth even more.
Now, both Jones Jr. and Leonard are back in action and Leonard in particular has been outstanding during the Clippers' resurgence. Leonard is averaging over 40 points in his last five games and most recently put together a 45 point performance against the Utah Jazz while shooting over 55% from the field.

Paul Rutherford-Imagn ImagesHeading into the matchup against the Celtics, the Clippers have received even more good news on the injury front, based on the absence of a notable name from the injury report for the first time in several weeks.
The biggest piece of news in regard to the Clippers injury report is the name that's not on the list. Center Ivica Zubac will be AVAILABLE for a return to the court in Saturday's game after missing nearly two weeks with a Grade 2 ankle sprain he suffered against the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 20. Zubac's return is a massive plus for the Clippers both offensively and defensively.
Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring) is OUT for Saturday's game due to to left hamstring injury management. This will be the fourth-straight game that Bogdanovic will miss due to a hamstring issue he suffered against the Portland Trail Blazers on Dec. 26 and while there's no specific timeline for his return, he should be nearing a return to the court soon, just not in time for Saturday's game.

Chris Paul (not with team) has not played since being released from the team in the middle of the night after a fateful meeting with team leadership while on the road to play the Atlanta Hawks.
Jayson Tatum (achilles) remains OUT for Saturday's game while he continues his rehabbing a torn left achilles tendon that he injured while playing against New York Knicks in last season's playoffs.
Tatum underwent surgery to repair the tendon on May 13, 2025 and is reportedly "determined to play" this season. The Celtics haven't officially ruled him out this season, but he is yet to make his season debut.
