The Los Angeles Clippers host the Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday night.

The Los Angeles Clippers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night in the second of a back-to-back stretch of games for Los Angeles.

They'll be looking to recover from a tight 120-119 loss to the Miami Heat on Monday, where James Harden led the team in points with 29 and assists with eight.

Two consecutive games will put a lot of strain on an already injury-prone Clippers lineup and have resulted in several key pieces sitting out the game against Oklahoma City. The Thunder are off to a perfect 7-0 start and present the Clippers with their hardest challenge yet this season.

    Clippers Injury Report

The usual suspects on the Clippers' injury list continue to be out as Kobe Sanders (knee) and Jordan Miller (hamstring) are both slated to miss significant time this season. However, the load management requirements that come with the Clippers' second-straight game mean that two of the Los Angeles Big Three will also have to be out.

Kawhi Leonard is OUT for Tuesday's game due to injury management. Leonard confirmed to the media on Monday that he rolled his ankle while playing against the Heat, adding later on the necessity of his rest. The Clippers can't afford to lose Leonard for a long time this season, especially so early on while the team is still trying to recover from their slow start.

Bradley Beal is also OUT for Tuesday's game for similar injury management reasons. Beal was the Clippers' biggest offseason acquisition, but has been held back by a back injury that has kept him out of several games to start the season and limited his minutes in the games he has appeared in.

With both Leonard and Beal missing, Harden will have to carry the heavy burden of the team's scoring on his back and will likely be relied on by his team and targeted by the opposing defense even more than he already has been this season.

    Thunder Injury Report

Oklahoma City's success this season is made even more impressive considering how long their list of injuries has grown.

Three Thunder players are OUT due to various surgeries: Jalen Williams (wrist surgery), Kenrich Williams (knee surgery), and Nikola Topic (testicular surgery).

Rookie Thomas Sorber (ACL) is OUT for the season as well.

Past the guaranteed absences, the status of several other Thunder players in up in the air.

Lu Dort (illness), Ajay Mitchell (glute), Jaylin Williams (shoulder) are all QUESTIONABLE to appear in Tuesday night's game.

The injury-addled team will still be led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was just named the Western Conference Player of the Week, and Chet Holmgren, showing why Oklahoma City has been so formidable despite being so shorthanded.

Tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Intuit Dome, with it being broadcast on NBC and Peacock.
