The Clippers are coming off a tough loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, 114-104. The loss snapped a five game win streak. They are 5-5 in their last ten games. They sit eighth in the West with a 39-37 record. The are a half game ahead of the Blazers, but trail the Phoenix Suns by three games.
The Spurs are red hot, taking care of the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, 127-113, for their tenth straight victory. They have just one loss since March 3. They are second in the West with a 58-18 record, two games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Spurs are 2-0 in the season series, with both wins coming in March. The Spurs won 116-112 on March 6 and 119-115 on March 16.
Los Angeles Clippers Injury Report
Isaiah Jackson remains OUT with a right ankle sprain. He's been sidelined since March 27, missing the last two games. On March 31, the Clippers announced that Jackson would be evaluated in the coming days before a timetable was determined for his return.
Jackson was acquired by the Clippers from the Indiana Pacers at the trade deadline as part of the Bennedict Mathurin for Ivica Zubac swap. In 17 games with the Clippers, he's averaging 7.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 blocks.
Bradley Beal is OUT after undergoing season-ending hip surgery in November. He played just six games this season.
Yanic Konan Niederhauser is OUT after suffering a season-ending right Linsfranc ligament tear on March 4 against the Pacers.
San Antonio Spurs Injury Report
The Spurs will be missing their top star and MVP candidate Victor Wembanyama, who is listed as OUT with right ankle injury management. He played 28 minutes against the Warriors on Wednesday, finishing with 41 points, 18 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks.
This will be Wemby's first missed game since March 12, which also happens to be the last time the Spurs lost a game. In 61 games this season, Wemby is averaging 24.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, three assists, and 3.1 blocks.
Luke Kornet will return to the lineup after missing the game with right knee injury management against the Warriors. He will likely start in place of Wemby.
David Jones Garcia and Emanuel Miller are both OUT on G-League two-way deals.
