Sean Pedulla made the most of the final two games of the Summer League regular season.

There seems to be no end to the young talent that the Los Angeles Clippers have acquired and the Summer League puts a spotlight not just on the premier names like Keaton Wagler, who was the Clippers' first-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, but other players who have found their way into playing time in different ways.

Sean Pedulla is one of those players. After going undrafted in 2025, Pedulla has been in the midst of building his career throigh two-way contracts and Summer League stints, first with the Portland Trail Blazers and now with the Clippers.

But just because Pedeulla is an undrafted player doesn't mean that he isn't someone with a high ceiling. Pedulla finished the last two games of the Summer League regular season with double-doubles in points and assists and with Keaton Wagler sidelined in the final game, Pedulla took on the responsibility of primary ball handler for the team.

Making Adjustments

Looking at his statline, he thrived in that role and when asked about what made him such an effective playmaker, Pedulla gave credit to the talent around him and showed understanding of what his own role needs to be.

"Just trying to be point guard first and play the role and make everyone around me better," Pedulla said. "This is probably the first time in my life where I've played with guys like a top-five pick or a guy that can have in 20 and 20 in Norchad [Omier]... Just trusting that and trying not to do too much."

Pedulla added that he felt in previous games, he was trying to "do too much" and that led to him falling out of rhythm of what his game is and what has made him so effective in his time on the court.

Pedulla's Potential

Especially for someone playing the one in the NBA, having an understanding of what your role is and how to make the talent on the floor around you work even smoother is key and Pedulla has already shown great strides in being able to do that after making some small adjustments.

Playing with the talent on the floor around him that the Clippers have accumulated is certainly a big step, but Pedulla's awareness of his capabilities and his ease in letting his teammates work around him is a great sign of his capabilities as a playmaker and an off-ball creator that should give the Clippers a reason to keep an eye on him.
