The roster features 15 players, made up of a combination of rookies and guys with NBA experience.
Cameron Boozer, the No. 3 overall pick in this year's draft, headlines the rookie group, while Cedric Coward, the No. 11 overall pick last year, headlines the non-rookie portion of the roster.
The Grizzlies will play games in both Salt Lake City and Las Vegas in Summer League action.
Many eyes will be on Boozer once the games get going, as he joins Memphis as a prized prospect who could ultimately become the face of the franchise. In his lone season at Duke University, Boozer averaged 22.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while taking home AP Player of the Year honors nationally.
Fellow first-round pick Karim Lopez will also get in on the action this summer, though second-round pick Richie Saunders isn't on the roster as he recovers from a torn ACL he suffered months ago.
Of the non-rookies, Coward stands out on the roster. He earned All-Rookie honors this past season and finished fifth in the Rookie of the Year race, but that clearly isn't going to stop him from getting some reps in this summer. Coward appeared in 62 games as a rookie, making 47 starts and averaging 13.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest.
Other notable non-rookies include Taylor Hendricks (averaged 10.6 points per game after being traded to Memphis this past season), Javon Small (averaged 9.7 points per game as a rookie this past season) and Olivier-Maxence Prosper (just averaged 10.0 points per game in his first season with the Grizzlies).
The roster also includes some rookies who weren't selected in the 2026 NBA Draft, which will give those guys some opportunities to show the team what they're all about.
The Grizzlies will get their Summer League schedule this weekend against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the two teams will battle on Saturday, July 4. That will start a little bit of a sprint for Memphis in Summer League play, as the team will play three games in four days in Salt Lake City before turning around and heading to Las Vegas.
It looks like a very talented group that the Grizzlies are sending to Summer League this year, so the next couple of weeks should be fun for fans to watch their squad.
