Kuminga redundancy is overblown

Most of the backlash the Atlanta Hawks got when trading for Jonathan Kuminga was around the redundancy of him and Jalen Johnson. Both play in the forward spot.

But I think that's a big overblown. They both have very different skillsets and are different archetypes of players, despite playing much of the same position on the floor.

There's absolutely a world in which they can play alongside each other in the starting lineup to bring size and versatility.

Having too much young talent is a good thing. And the Hawks aren't ready to contend now, so why not try this out and see how it goes? I am a fan of the move. If it doesn't work, oh well. Winning games isn't at the top of the priority list right now anyway.
