Jock Landale is available with a nasal fracture for Atlanta’s game at Charlotte, while Mouhamed Gueye and Henri Veesaar remain out.

The Atlanta Hawks listed Jock Landale as available with a nasal fracture for Friday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center. Tip-off is 7 p.m. ET.

Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reported that the Hawks announced the fracture Friday. Landale took the hit during Wednesday's season opener and stayed in the game.

Mouhamed Gueye, with a left foot fracture, and Henri Veesaar, with a torn right ACL, are out again.

RayJ Dennis, Keshon Gilbert, and Jalen Wilson, Atlanta's three two-way players, are questionable under the G League two-way designation, the same status all three carried before the opener.

None of the three was active Wednesday. Wilson signed his two-way deal in July after three seasons with the Brooklyn Nets. Dennis signed in December, and Gilbert signed March 4. Each two-way contract allows up to 50 regular-season games on the active roster.

Charlotte ruled out four players. Kylan Boswell is recovering from right knee surgery, Kon Knueppel has a left hamstring strain, Coby White has a left calf strain, and Grant Williams has a right hamstring strain.

Both teams are 1-0. Friday is Charlotte's home opener.

Landale Scored 10 in Win at Orlando

Landale came off the bench in Wednesday's 132-125 win over the Orlando Magic at Kia Center and played 18:36.

He went 4-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 at the free-throw line, finishing with 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Early in the fourth quarter, he finished an alley-oop from Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Less than a minute later, he scored on a hook shot after an offensive rebound.

Onyeka Okongwu, Atlanta's other center, had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Atlanta got Landale from Utah for cash considerations on Feb. 4. Memphis had traded him to Utah one day earlier in the eight-player deal built around Jaren Jackson Jr.

In 45 games with Memphis before the trade, he averaged 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds. With the Hawks, he averaged 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 23 regular-season games before a sprained right ankle kept him out of the playoffs.

He re-signed with Atlanta this offseason on a one-year, $14 million contract.

Gueye and Veesaar Remain Sidelined

Friday is 101 days since Gueye's July 14 surgery.

He fractured the foot in a July 8 workout, and when the Hawks announced the operation the following day, they set a re-evaluation for three to four months later. The team has not announced the result of that re-evaluation.

Charlotte drafted Gueye 39th out of Washington State in 2023. Boston was the third team in the trade that routed him to Atlanta.

He made 28 starts in 2024-25 and averaged 6.0 points and 4.2 rebounds. Last season, he played in 77 games and started 8.

Veesaar has yet to play a regular-season game. The 52nd pick in June, he tore the ACL in his right knee in a Sept. 15 workout.

Six days later, the Hawks scheduled his surgery with Dr. Kyle Hammond for October and said they expect him to miss the season.

In 31 games at North Carolina last season, the 7-footer put up 17.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. He shot 42.6% from 3-point range. Across 8 Summer League games in July, he averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds.

Hornets Still Without Knueppel, White, and Williams

All four injured Hornets also sat out Wednesday's 110-103 win at Brooklyn.

Charlotte announced the hamstring injuries to Knueppel and Williams on Sept. 25. Both happened during offseason on-court work, with a re-evaluation planned during the regular season's first week.

Knueppel, the fourth pick in the 2025 draft, led the NBA with 273 3-pointers as a rookie.

Williams tore his right ACL and meniscus on Nov. 23, 2024. His return came Jan. 10, 2026, and he appeared in 36 games after that.

White strained his left calf at training camp in Charleston, South Carolina, and was ruled out of the preseason Oct. 5. Charlotte acquired him from Chicago on Feb. 4 and signed him to a three-year, $74 million contract in July.

On Tuesday, the Hornets said Knueppel, White, and Williams had returned to individual on-court work while continuing their return-to-play plans.

Hornets coach Charles Lee said Sunday there was still no timeline for Knueppel or White.

Boswell went undrafted out of Illinois and signed a two-way contract with Charlotte in June.

The Hawks play their home opener Saturday against the Houston Rockets at 8:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena. Charlotte hosts the Miami Heat on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET.
