The Miami Heat's month of Dec. has been a rough go, only winning four of their 12 games so far. However, even with those recent struggles, the team is still above .500 and sitting in the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference standings with a 17-15 record. The Heat have the opportunity to add a star to this team but according to a blockbuster trade idea via Bleacher Report between the Heat and Los Angeles Clippers, they could add maybe more than one.

Heat receive: F Kawhi Leonard, G James Harden and G Chris Paul

Clippers receive: G Tyler Herro, F Andrew Wiggins, G Kasparas Jakucionis, G Terry Rozier, 2030 first-round pick and 2032 first-round pick

"It's been a while since the Heat had a whale, and if that dry spell doesn't snap soon, mediocrity might become the norm in Miami," the article wrote. "This would be an extreme way to fight against that, but it'd also be a fascinating test of the franchise's famed culture. If everything broke right — a more likely scenario than it sounds due to the presence of Erik Spoelstra — the Heat could have enough talent to capitalize on the wide-open Eastern Conference. Leonard could serve as the resident superstar, while Harden and Paul would combat the creativity limitations that spurred this squad into running with reckless abandon."

Harden and Leonard, while on the older side, have been extremely productive despite the Clippers' dreadful record. Both are averaging around 26 points. Paul's recent notable falling out with the Clippers makes him available for trade and with his experience, being a backup guard in the Heat rotation could work well for both him and Miami. It's a big swing but somehow in this deal, Miami would still be holding on to multiple young key pieces.

"Miami has manufactured a fully loaded supporting cast, it just needs the right stars to support," the article added. "This deal would deliver two without forcing the Heat to dismantle what they've built. There are some painful sacrifices here, obviously, but they'd still be all over a deal that netted multiple stars without costing any of Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Pelle Larsson."

Is this trade likely to happen? Probably not. However, the idea of bringing in three veterans to play alongside a team with loads of potential is intriguing to say the least. Harden, Leonard and Paul could help bring a championship to Miami.
