QUOTABLE

Heat forward Jaime Jaquez on the team's recent play: “It’s really just winning games. We were on a losing streak and then no one’s talking. You win a couple of games, you’re back in the conversation. Like I’ve said from the beginning, it’s all about winning. Everybody gets what they want.”

Media personality Bill Simmons on Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo combo: "Herro is just back. Herro is like, `I'm actually offended that you guys forgot I was good at basketball and I was being thrown around in this tradeline (stuff).' Bam, I think has gotten better offensively as the season went along. There were some pretty shaky Bam stuff. He's basically been a 22-10 guy for two months."'

Wizards GM Will Dawkins on the addition of big man Julian Reese: "When we wanted to address a need, it was to find a big and when you thought about our team, someone that had some physicality, some toughness, and could rebound the ball is what we were looking for. Having someone who is local and a product that we've got to be able to watch over the years."
