The Miami Heat bounced back from their recent stretch of losses by beating the Houston Rockets on the road with a score of 115-105. The Heat had a multitude of strong performances to help put them over the edge against a strong Western Conference team. The Rockets have been viewed as one of the strongest teams in the West and currently sit as the No. 3 seed in the West.

For the Heat, Bam Adebayo was the leading points scorer with 24 points along with 11 rebounds. He continues his strong season as one of the more under-appreciated centers in basketball. While not selected to this season's All-Star game, Adebayo has had a strong season as a scorer and a defender.

Following Adebayo in terms of most points scored was Pelle Larsson. The 2024 second-round draft pick has filled in seamlessly into the starting lineup. He scored 20 points this afternoon while Tyler Herro scored 18 points. Herro has now played in five games since returning from his rib injury. He is averaging 19 points since his return. Herro missed the first month of the season while recovering from ankle surgery and missed the last month-and-a-half with his rib injury.

The Heat had a very productive game in terms of their lineup's plus-minus ratings. The only two players to receive minutes and sit in the negative column were Andrew Wiggins and Davion Mitchell, who finished with -5 and -3 respectively.

For the Rockets, Kevin Durant was the team's leading scorer with 32 points. While Houston has one of the best records in the West, their record on the road doesn't fully reflect that. The Rockets have been just barely above the .500 mark as an away team with a 17-15 record. The only other player on their roster to pass the 20-point marker was guard Amen Thompson, who finished with exactly 20 points.

The Heat finish the month of February with a 6-5 record. That record is perfectly reflective of how the team's season has gone thus far. They currently sit in the Eastern Conference standings as the No. 8 seed with a 32-29 record. To begin the month of March, the Heat host the 15-44 Brooklyn Nets on Mar. 3.
