The Miami Heat will be one team looking to make a big move this summer. After striking out multiple times for players such as Damian Lillard and Kevin Durant when they were both included in trade discussions in recent offseasons, the Heat will have the opportunity to add a big-name star with their assets this offseason. The team has multiple tradable first-round draft picks along with a good amount of both veterans with hefty contracts and young stars who have value.

Bleacher Report released an article, highlighting three potential landing spots for Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, who is expected to be included in trade discussions this offseason. The Heat were among the three teams listed and the article even proposed a potential deal:

Heat receive: F Kawhi Leonard and F Derrick Jones Jr.

Clippers receive: G Tyler Herro, F Andrew Wiggins and F Jaime Jaquez Jr.

It is intriguing this proposed offer doesn't include any future first-round draft picks considering the Clippers are presumably entering a rebuild. Leonard just had one of the best seasons of his storied career, averaging a career-high 27.9 points along with 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from three-point range. The Clippers began this past season as one of the worst teams in the entire league, even behind the strong tandem of Leonard and James Harden. However, they slowly began crawling back to the .500 mark but quickly changed the trajectory of their season by moving Harden and Ivica Zubac at the trade deadline.

At the moment, the future is unknown for Herro, who enters next season on an expiring contract. Given his multiple absences this season due to injury, Pat Riley was reluctant to hand him a contract extension, making him a prime trade candidate this offseason. Wiggins is expected to opt into his $30 million player option and he is set to hit unrestricted free agency next summer as well. Jaquez had his best season to date, ranking second in Sixth Man of the Year award voting but he will be looking for a contract extension soon.

The Heat will presumably be chasing Giannis Antetokounmpo this summer but adding a player of Leonard's caliber would certainly not just be a consolation prize. Alongside Bam Adebayo, he would catapult the Heat to Eastern Conference contenders if Miami were to make a move similar to this.
