QUOTABLE

Heat forward Bam Adebayo on approaching Udonis Haslem's franchise rebounding record: "I'm on the way. He [Haslem] knows it. That gap is getting closer and closer. Being part of this organization, the guys ahead of me, records are meant to be broken, but they want you to earn them. Obviously, I'm earning it every game and [at] some point it's going to happen."

Heat legend Dwyane Wade on Nets rookie Egor Demin: "(We've been) big fans of Egor for a while. Just as a person. You get a chance to meet his family, his close people that are around him, you get this essence of Egor. A young man who has big dreams for himself, he has big dreams for his country, and we're just happy to be a part of his story. Hopefully we can tell it the right way."
