QUOTABLE
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra on zone defenses: “Regardless of whatever the scheme is, I always go back to that. It’s just about committing to doing hard things. We were really moving in the zone, taking away airspace, and scrambling to challenge shots at the rim. In a lot of these losses in the last three months, we’ve just been giving up shots at the rim and threes.”
Nets player Danny Wolf on his growth this season: "I hate saying you can learn from a loss because it stings and it sucks, and losing as a competitor is one of the worst feelings. But with such a young group, the resilience of the fight when you lose to a team by four that you lost (to) by 40 a week ago -- speaks volumes to improvement."
