NBA insider says the Milwaukee Bucks are looking new, young talent in trade of Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Miami Heat keep hearing everything they want when it comes to the chase of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Heat are considered the frontrunners to land the two-time MVP for a variety of reasons. Antetokounmpo is friends with Miami center Bam Adebayo and he enjoys South Florida. The Heat are also a team that could become a contender by adding another superstar.

And now they have another edge. According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Bucks want to trade Antetokounmpo for talented, young players.

“They want young promising players," Haynes said on the Kevin O'Connor podcast. "A team like Orlando, I’m looking at Orlando seeing what they’re going to do, Paolo Banchero I think would have to be involved. I don’t see Jaylen (brown) in MIL. It’d have to be another team”

The Heat have plenty of  young players to package in a deal for Antetokounmpo. Guard Tyler Herro is a one-time All-Star and former Sixth Man of the Year. Forward Jaime Jaquez was arguably one of the top reserves this season. Center Kel'el Ware is a rising talent in the league.

So the Heat meet the requirements. In three weeks, we'll see if that is enough to land one of the league's top players.

HEAT MAKE NEW TV DEAL

The Heat will have a new wrinkle this season.

And no it's not the addition of Antetokounmpo. At least not yet.

On Monday, the Heat announced they will broadcast games on Local 10 WLPG.

“We’re very excited to be on Local 10 this upcoming season,” said Michael McCullough, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Heat in a statement. “Last season was a great experience not only for the HEAT and Local 10, but the fans as well. The increased viewership proved the strength of this partnership and the benefit of having the local reach of WPLG was unmistakable. We’re looking forward to taking this to the next level this upcoming season and giving HEAT Nation a truly special viewing experience.”

According to the press release, the Heat games "will also be available on Local 10’s new free streaming platform, LOCAL 10 Plus Platinum. The platform allows fans to watch games on smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs, along with additional Heat content and specials."
