Should the Hornets consider hiring Rod Boone?

When longtime Mavs beat writer Dwain Price was laid off by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 2017 after 26 years at the paper, Dallas hired him for Mavs.com shortly afterward. With Rod Boone's Hornets beat position now eliminated, should Charlotte follow that model and bring in someone who already knows the team, market, and fanbase?
