Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller had a monster block on Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Charlotte Hornets may have lost to the Milwaukee Bucks on December 29, but Brandon Miller had a monster block on Giannis Antetokounmpo at the rim.

It is one of the top blocks of the season thus far and the best block of Miller's young career.

The Hornets are in Los Angeles right now, so Miller stopped by the NBA Today studio and spoke to Malika Andrews of ESPN about his stellar block on Antetokounmpo.

Miller is having a solid season for the Hornets. The talented swingman is averaging 19.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 40.2% from the field, 34.8% from beyond the arc and 82.4% from the free-throw line.

The Hornets are 14-26. They are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings. Miller and Co. have to be at least the 10th seed to make the NBA play-in tournament.

Charlotte made the play-in tournament during the 2021-22 season and lost to the Atlanta Hawks. The franchise hasn't made the playoffs since all the way back in 2016.

Miller was the second overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He holds career averages of 18.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. The Hornets are building around Miller and Kon Knueppel, who has already established himself as one of the top shooters in the league.

Now, there have been rumors that the Charlotte could trade LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges to create more shots for Miller and Knueppel. Ball has been linked to the Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors, while Bridges has been connected to the Los Angeles Lakers.

It will be intriguing to see if the Hornets trade Ball and/or Bridges. Neither veteran has a no-trade clause.

The 2026 NBA trade deadline is next month. Miller is untouchable in trade talks, so he's not going anywhere.
