Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams said he misspoke about LeBron James.

Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams went on former NBA star Jeff Teague's podcast and said that Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James had his own house at the Walt Disney World bubble in 2020.

That's when former Lakers forward Markieff Morris responded by saying, "lol cap he was two doors down from me! Dog was locked down just like the rest of us. We had a madden league. We played all the games in his room. We was damn near gaming all night!"

Williams saw Morris' tweet and issued the following post on X:

"The whole team was in the hotel. Bron had a room as well. At the time it was communicated that he had the room as well as a house on campus. I spoke with that knowledge but I’ll say publicly i was wrong and spoke with inaccurate information."

James and the Lakers won the 2020 championship against the Miami Heat. Williams was on the Boston Celtics back then. Boston lost to Miami in the conference finals.

James is a four-time MVP, four-time champion and four-time Finals MVP. He's the NBA's all-time leading scorer. James has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Heat and Lakers.

Meanwhile, Williams is in his third season with the Hornets. The veteran is averaging 7.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 41.4% from the field, 35.3% from beyond the arc and 82.9% from the free-throw line.

Williams has played for the Celtics, Dallas Mavericks and Hornets. He reached the 2022 NBA Finals with Boston, a series the Golden State Warriors won in six games.

The Hornets are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. They are 7-3 over their last 10 games. Williams and Co. are looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

The biggest story in Charlotte right now is rookie Kon Knueppel, who leads the NBA in 3-pointers. The Duke product is averaging 19.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 49.1% from the field, 44.2% from beyond the arc and 89.3% from the free-throw line.

"It's really just about making the right basketball play," Knueppel said after the Hornets beat the Pacers. "My teammates are setting good screens and setting me up in good spots. The coaches as well. I'm just out there looking to make the right play for my team."
