LaMelo Ball knows Charlotte Hornets fans will continue to support the team as long as winning continues.

After the Charlotte Hornets beat the Miami Heat on Tuesday, LaMelo Ball spoke about the energy at the Spectrum Center.

Hornets fans have been selling out Charlotte home games and Ball has been enjoying the vibes.

The Hornets are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. They are 7-3 over their last 10 games and Charlotte fans have been coming to the Spectrum Center in bunches to support the local basketball team.

Ball had a terrific outing against the Heat. The All-Star finished with 32 points and 13 assists while shooting 11-of-22 from the field and 4-of-12 from beyond the arc. Charlotte beat Miami by a final score of 136-106 to improve to 35-34 on the season.

The Hornets are in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings. If the regular season ended today, Ball and co. would be in the NBA play-in tournament. The 10th seed needs to win two play-in games to make the playoffs.

Charlotte hasn't made the playoffs since 2016. Ball, who has never been to the playoffs, is averaging 19.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game on the season. After being in trade rumors earlier in the season, Ball has turned his campaign around.

The Hornets have 13 games left in the regular season. It will be fascinating to see if Charlotte can make the playoffs this season for the first time in the Ball era, which began in 2020.

Ball was the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. He holds career averages of 20.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game.

With Ball, Brandon Miller and Kon Knueppel leading the way, the Hornets have a bright future for the first time in a long, long time.
